Staph Infection Symptoms
If you think you have a staph infection and you're wondering what the symptoms are, the first thing you need to know is that the only way you can determine if you have staph infection is to do a bacterial culture test. The symptoms of Staph & MRSA can be easily mistaken for spider bites and several other skin conditions and doing a culture test is the only way to know for sure.
Additionally, there is no difference in the symptoms of Staph Infections and MRSA Infections. MRSA is simply a type of Staph Infection, so it is not accurate to distinguish between the two when talking about their symptoms. MRSA is just harder to get rid of, but that does not imply the symptoms are worse.
Staph usually causes boils, red bumps, open sores, etc. For pictures of the various conditions caused by staph please see the menu at the top of the page.
